River Braan

Phil and Cam went out for a run on the Braan yesterday and then headed to the Tay for a play session. Levels were ok. It had dropped alot since the Saturday. But we had fun. Phill was paddling a small Burn and Cam was in his Medium Ammo.

Opening Hours During Canoexpo

We are getting excited about Canoexpo. There is alot of work to do to make sure we get all the product in on time and the exhibitors are kept up to date with what is going on. For the latest news click here.
With Canoexpo coming up I should let you all that Brookbank Scotland will be changing our opening hours during the event. The reason being that all Brookbank Staff will be needed for this sizable event.

Our Mission with Canoexpo is to host a showcase event which celebrates canoeing and kayaking to the enthusiast, newcomer and occasional paddler on a level not seen before in the UK.

Our mission is to create an event that captures and enhances the enthusiasm that exists for canoeing and kayaking in the UK and inspires the newcomer.

Hopefully this will not be too much of an issue for you. If you miss us that much you can always come and see us at the show. Tickets are on sale now.
The plus point with all of this is that the show is the date for all our pre season orders to arrive. So after the show we will have all the new products in nice and early for Spring Summer.

New Toy

Cam has bought a new Video Camera. Just a cheap one that saves to SD Card. Hopefully we'll get some more exciting things filmed at some point, but in the mean time here is a little shot of the boys in the shop.

First Paddle of the New Year

We've had lots of snow and freezing temps over the last couple of weeks but we decided to go out for a paddle anyway. We had a great run on the upper and middle Braan. Levels were ok. Not high but it was a cool social paddle.

You can see from the pictures how much snow was still around at the put in and the take out below.


We have also been busy in the workshop. Outfitting a customers new Open Boat with bow and stern airbags and lash kits.



We are busy for January and we are set to get busier with the run up to Canoexpo. Don't forget to book your tickets online NOW!!!!!

Happy New Year

First day back in the New Year and we are off with a bang. We have had a busy morning in the shop today. People egar to come and see us and spend their Christmas Money. Thanks to you all for being our first Customers of 2008.

We are looking forward to 2008. February will see our own show in Coventry. Canoe Expo.
This is set to be the UK's biggest Canoe and Kayak Show of the Year.

We have also heard that LiquidLife will be returning for 2008. Details are still a little sketchy but it will be in May sometime.
